Description
General Summary
Responsible for all stage electrical fixtures, wiring and control mechanisms, and executing all show lighting requirements, as well as care and maintenance of above.
Supervises
Local Union Extra Crew and House Crew Assistants, when appropriate.
Requirements
Education and/or Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar position
• Familiarity with venue’s current lighting boards & infrastructure is preferred:
- ETC Ion 1500
- ETC Element 60
- ETC Paradigm house lighting system
- ETC NET3 network system, gateways and nodes
- ETC Sensor dimmer racks and CEM control modules
• Experience with Grand MA & Hog consoles a plus.
• Experience with AutoCad, Vectorworks and Lightwright a plus.
