Description
Cabinetry Sales & Operations Manager
Department Leadership & Operations
Oversee daily operations of the Cabinet Department, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and exceptional customer service.
Develop, streamline, and maintain department workflows, processes, and best practices.
Manage showroom presentation, product displays, and inventory accuracy.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and installation guidelines.
Sales & Customer Experience
Drive department sales through customer engagement, design consultations, and accurate quoting.
Provide expert guidance on cabinetry layout, measurements, materials, styles, and construction.
Manage customer expectations throughout the entire project lifecycle—from initial consultation through installation completion.
Resolve customer issues and escalations professionally and promptly.
Team Management
Recruit, train, and supervise cabinet designers, sales associates, and support staff.
Coach the team to meet sales goals, project deadlines, and quality standards.
Conduct performance reviews and foster a collaborative, accountable team culture.
Vendor, Contractor & Installer Coordination
Build strong relationships with cabinet manufacturers, suppliers, and installers.
Negotiate product pricing, delivery timelines, special orders, and service agreements.
Coordinate installation schedules and ensure quality craftsmanship and accuracy on all jobs.
Financial & Administrative
Oversee department budgets, sales forecasting, margin optimization, and profitability.
Review and approve quotes, purchase orders, job files, and design packages.
Track KPIs and provide leadership with consistent performance updates.
Qualifications
3–5+ years of experience in cabinetry, kitchen/bath design, remodeling, or related building materials.
Previous leadership or department management experience strongly preferred.
Proficiency with 2020 Design (20/20) or similar CAD/design/quoting software.
Strong understanding of cabinet construction, layout principles, and installation processes.
Ability to read blueprints, measure accurately, and verify site conditions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Working Conditions
Onsite in a showroom/office environment with occasional travel to job sites.
Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
Pay Details:$70,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
Pay Details: $75,000.00 per year
