Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) and active membership in the Florida Bar
- 8-12 years of dedicated construction litigation experience
- Proven ability to manage complex litigation independently
- Extensive courtroom experience, including hearings, trials, arbitration, and mediation
- In-depth knowledge of federal and Florida construction law, contract disputes, liens, bond claims, construction defects, and insurance coverage
- Strong negotiation and contract-drafting skills
Responsibilities:
- Independently manage significant construction litigation caseloads
- Represent clients effectively through hearings, trials, and depositions
- Draft and negotiate detailed construction contracts and agreements
- Provide strategic legal advice, risk assessment, and dispute resolution
- Stay current with evolving state and federal construction regulations and compliance standards
